I never knew the details of Monroe’s Hurricane Katrina story. Learning more about his past will only make you love him more. I’ve decided to pull for the New Orleans Saints in honor of our big man. After the game he had today (21 pts. / 5 reb. / 5 asst.), it seems a near certainty that the NBA will be knocking on his door at the end of the season. Let’s hope he decides to stay on the hilltop for at least one more year.
