The Hoyas will head west December 12th to play in the 16th Annual John Wooden Classic at the Honda Center in Anaheim. This is the Hoyas first trip to California since we lost to UCLA at Pauley Pavillion in 2001 (I was there… painful).
The field consists of Georgetown, UCLA, Washington and Mississippi State. The Hoyas will play the Huskies and then the winner/loser of UCLA vs. MSU. Remember, Washington won the PAC-10 title last year and came very close to making it to the Sweet 16, so it should be a good early-season test for us.
